Our farm is for family fun. Pick your own . Let the kids run around the farm and see the animals. Picnic while you are here. Enjoy the fresh fruit smoothies and other goodies inside the store. If you don't want to pick call ahead and we will have your order ready when you are. Also you can find us at three farmers markets. Adel on Tuesday, Waukee on Wednesday and West Glen on Saturday. .
Farm opens tentatively Memorial weekend
Thursday May 17, 2012. Berries continue to ripen. I plan on irrigating this weekend to improve the size and juicyness. Since we lost all the early blossoms I assume we will not have the big king berries this year. With blossums still opening the berries will be available until at least mid June. I have about a 1/2 acre of day neutral berries that should give us a later season crop in August and September. We have lost all the peaches and apples due to frost but the raspberries should be OK.
